It’s 9:54am on Thanksgiving Day and we’ve already started some bread dough in the bread machine for dinner rolls, the crockpot for applesauce (this is an ongoing thing as we bought about 5 bushels of apples this year), the Pioneer Woman’s Caramel Apple Pie, Green Bean Casserole and…I dunno, something else I’m sure.
Now we are curled up on the couch watching the Thanksgiving Day Parade. (OK. I’m not. Because I’m kinda cleaning the kitchen and writing this post!) Later today we’re going to my aunt’s house to celebrate with my family. Then tomorrow we’ll go to my husband’s family. We may hit up the Atlanta Botanical Gardens tonight and I’m sure Frozen will happen, too.
I’m so glad we’re doing Thanksgiving over two days insatead of all in one day. I don’t wanna do Black Friday anyway so this is better on my tummy and is way more relaxing!
Do you do Black Friday? I am such a bad shopper (take my girl card away!) that it stresses me out just thinking about it! Of course, you know I love a good online deal (hello Amazon Prime!). My inbox has been inudated with Black Friday deals to share with you. So, you wanna see ’em?
I’ll be quick–there are still dishes to do!
{And, can I be transparent? Buying via links on my blog helps support my site! It doesn’t change the price for you, but I (or any blogger you click through) will receive a small percentage of your purchase. Whenever I buy anything from Amazon, I always click through one of my favorite bloggers because I’d rather them make a few coins than Amazon keep it all!}
Anywhoo. Here we go…

Dayspring (I already bought like 5 Christmas presents here this year!)

50% off everything in her store with code fancyyancyfriday
101 Days of Christmas ebook by Mandi Ehman
Only 99 cents from Friday-Tuesday!
Get any of Katie’s awesome whole foods recipe books for 50% off with code BLACKFRIDAY.
And of course, my most favorite place to shop in the whole wide internet: Amazon!
OK. But the coolest Black Friday deal I’ve heard about is from Family Christian Store. They are partnering with author Karen Kingsbury this Thanksgiving weekend to raise $50,000 to build an orphanage in Haiti. And how are they doing it? 100% of their proceeds from their sales this weekend are going to the orphanage! How cool is that? So, basically, go shopping at Family Christian Stores and buy an orphanage.
So, are there any other fab online deals I need to know about? Do tell!

{PS: You do know Truth in the Tinsel begins on Sunday, right?!! Please tell me you’ve got your copy of the ebook and are ready go go!!}
I was just about to head over to Amazon discount by the deal. Your post is very timely, and you benefited from it 😉
You.
I believe everything composed was very logical. However, think on this, suppose you added
a little information? I ain’t suggesting your content is
not solid, but suppose you added a title to maybe get a person’s
attention? I mean Thanksgiving & Black Friday & All That Stuff
is kinda plain. You might peek at Yahoo’s front page and
see how they create post titles to get viewers interested.
You might add a video or a picture or two to grab people excited about everything’ve got to say.
In my opinion, it might make your posts a little livelier.
