When I was at Blissdom this year I was sitting at a table of Crafty/DIY bloggers. A girl came up to me and said, “I think we are neighbors.” Now, this might be super weird anywhere else but I guess in the land of bloggers it’s only kinda weird. Anyway, after talking for a minute we discovered that we do in fact live less than 5 minutes from each other! Two Christian moms blogging about our kids, crafts and life! How cool is that?
I’d like to introduce you to my neighbor (and new bloggy friend), Cha Cha from Cha Cha’s Treasures and her blog, Sit Relax & Read! Cha Cha is partnering with Impress Your Kids and I’m so excited about this partnership because Cha Cha’s heart is the same as mine–to impress God’s Word on our kids. And one way Cha Cha does this is with Memory Verse Pillows!
Sound fun?
They are! And look how cute, too!
These pillow covers are gorgeous and are available in tons of fabrics (including some super cute boy patterns!) with a little pocket for your kids to slide in Memory Verse cards. Kids can keep them with them at night, read them before bed and just have a central location to find them all day!
I LOVE THIS.
It reminds me of a grown-up (and much cuter) version of My God Can! Not only is it a good way for kids to keep the verses they are learning close, it is another visual reminder that God’s Word is central to our lives! If you have a special pillow on your bed or in your room that houses Scriptures you are trying to learn–it just solidifies the fact that God’s Word is important!
I think these pillows would be excellent gifts for baptisms, dedications and EASTER BASKETS! If you have non-readers, it would be fun to put scriptures in that would be a prayer for your child. You could read them before bed or whenever they need them. It would be a visual of your prayer and God’s Word in their lives! Oooh, these make me so excited!
Don’t forget to subscribe to Cha Cha’s blog, Sit Relax and Read, like her on facebook or follow her on twitter! You will love her!

I would love the purple strip with the pompom trim
I would choose Psalm 139:14.
I would go with the pink and black with the pom trim! I am loving pink, grey and black as color combos right now and it would look so sweet in my daughter’s room! 🙂
I feel like God has really been dealing with our family on the subject of grace and the finished work of Jesus! So I would probably put Ephesians 2:4-5, 8-9 as well as John 19:30. Such good reminders that we can’t add anything to the finished work of Jesus!
I would definitely get the purple and white one! My 5 yr is obsessed with purple and it would totally match her room! hahaha 🙂

I’d pick pink/green floral w/ pink pom-pom trim.
What a great idea! I would pick the pink and green paradise pillow.
It’s hard to choose a favorite but I like the tropical aqua one.
I would put the verse “Trust in the Lord with all your heart…” Prov. 3:5

I’d pick a blue flowery one for my little girl, and a pink flowery one for my big girl! 🙂 Thanks for a chance to win!
One verse I would put in their pillow is Psalm 32:8 (NLT) which says, “I will guide along the best pathway for your life.”

I like green and purple with pink pom-pom trim! Libbie doesn’t read yet, of course, but it would be sweet to put Scripture prayers FOR her in there too.
These are the verses God has given me for David that I pray over him fervently:
I would have you wise as to what is good and guileless as to what is evil; then the God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. (Rom. 16:19b-20)
Navy and Stripes for me!!
Each of my kids has a verse we pray over them every night so that would go in the pillow.

I think Grace would like either the purple and white striped pillow or the green and purple print one. We’ve been working on nighttime prayers, so this would be awesome for her.
