Memory Verse Pillows

Cha Cha's Treasure

When I was at Blissdom this year I was sitting at a table of Crafty/DIY bloggers. A girl came up to me and said, “I think we are neighbors.” Now, this might be super weird anywhere else but I guess in the land of bloggers it’s only kinda weird. Anyway, after talking for a minute we discovered that we do in fact live less than 5 minutes from each other! Two Christian moms blogging about our kids, crafts and life! How cool is that?

I’d like to introduce you to my neighbor (and new bloggy friend), Cha Cha from Cha Cha’s Treasures and her blog, Sit Relax & Read! Cha Cha is partnering with Impress Your Kids and I’m so excited about this partnership because Cha Cha’s heart is the same as mine–to impress God’s Word on our kids. And one way Cha Cha does this is with Memory Verse Pillows!

Sound fun?

They are! And look how cute, too!

These pillow covers are gorgeous and are available in tons of fabrics (including some super cute boy patterns!) with a little pocket for your kids to slide in Memory Verse cards. Kids can keep them with them at night, read them before bed and just have a central location to find them all day!

I LOVE THIS.

It reminds me of a grown-up (and much cuter) version of My God Can! Not only is it a good way for kids to keep the verses they are learning close, it is another visual reminder that God’s Word is central to our lives! If you have a special pillow on your bed or in your room that houses Scriptures you are trying to learn–it just solidifies the fact that God’s Word is important!

I think these pillows would be excellent gifts for baptisms, dedications and EASTER BASKETS! If you have non-readers, it would be fun to put scriptures in that would be a prayer for your child. You could read them before bed or whenever they need them. It would be a visual of your prayer and God’s Word in their lives! Oooh, these make me so excited!

Don’t forget to subscribe to Cha Cha’s blog, Sit Relax and Read, like her on facebook or follow her on twitter! You will love her!

I’d choose Bible Memory Verse Pillow, Pink and Green Floeral with pink pom pom trim. I would put Matthew 6:33 in the pillow. It’s always been “my verse” and I’ve passed that on to my kids. “…But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness….”
