Fave #1. Sleeping in. I got to sleep till 9am for the past 2 days. Lydia was on a trip with her grandparents. (more on that later…)
Fave #2. Antiquing. Yancy & I walked through a historic downtown and looked through antique shops. I love the smell of old stuff. I saw some amazing old opera glasses, beautiful furniture and even some vintage buttons. I just love thinking about the stories behind all the items. I didn’t even buy anything I just like to look. And I should do it more often!
Fave #3. Chocolate Gingerbread Cookies. These are to die for. Today I bought 4 from my one of my favorite restaurants. I only ate one (so far).
Fave #4. New Books. I went to the bookstore today to look for a specific book. As the clerk was looking it up, I noticed a sign for a book signing by Elizabeth Musser. I said, “Oh, is she going to be here?” And she said, “Oh, she was here today.” I said, “Oh, really?” She said, “Oh yeah, you just missed her. She left 30 minutes ago.” I said, “Oh, man!” (And you wonder why this blog is called oh amanda!) Anyway, Elizabeth Musser is one of my favorite authors because her stories are always set in Atlanta. And one of the characters in The Swan House had my same full (maiden) name. I’ve always wanted to talk to her about why she chose that name. I did get a signed copy of her new book at least. I can’t wait to read it!
Fave #5. Good Friends. Yancy and I had fun today..sleeping late, eating cookies, shopping and just hanging out. I haven’t done that in forever.
Fave #6. Lydia. She was gone for 2 whole nights. When my parents dropped her off, she started crying, which made me a little sad. But she didn’t leave my arms the rest of the night! I missed my little girl and loved snuggling her tonight!
Feel free to add your own Fave o’ the Day in the comments!

Sounds like lots of good stuff today : ) Shopping, books, good friends, snuggling with you cutie…doesn’t get much better. Fave o’ my day? Being at a party with some of my girlfriends this evening, eating, laughing and having fun.
Chocolate gingerbread? I’d love to try those, I bet they have a mellower flavor than the straight gingerbread which is good but not necessarily my favorite. Wonder if I could Google a recipe . . .
Sleeping in and chocolate gingerbread, I would be in heaven. You have inspired me to look up a recipe or two…sounds you had a fun day!
Chocolate gingerbread? Sounds yummy.
And I love a good book. Especially with the weather getting colder. There’s nothing like cuddling up with a thick book and waiting out the winter.
I used to read your blog, forever ago. And then one day, I lost the link (which shows indeed how brilliant I am) or something because i couldn’t find you anymore. Did you move???
anyway, today on NaBlo I found you and was so happy…
and this was a perfect post to begin catching up with! 🙂
My Fave? Getting off of work early so I have a break between Job #1 and Job #2. Yea!
My fav today has to be the warm(ish) weather and our trip to the library. Books rock.
Fave of the day – Dacey and I baking our first cake “together.” Pictures to follow . . .
Chocolate gingerbread sounds divine!
I have to agree with a lot of your list, even Lydia. I’m sure she’d be one of my faves, too, if I knew her IRL 🙂 I especially like the antiquing one. We’d have so much fun doing that together, a!

Hello admin good article significantly thanks liked this webpage seriously much
What you typed was actually very reasonable. But, what about this? suppose you were to write a killer post title? I mean, I don’t wish to tell you how to run your website, however suppose you added a headline that grabbed people’s attention? I mean Faves o’ the Day | ohamanda.com is a little boring. You might glance at Yahoo’s front page and watch how they create news titles to get viewers interested. You might add a related video or a related pic or two to get people excited about what you’ve written. In my opinion, it might make your posts a little bit more interesting.
Thanks for the info! Always pressure to read an awesome post! Thanks again will be back for more!
