Wow! I’ve always wanted to go to Cirque de Soleil. The fact that it’s based on Mexico is automatically a favorite but we also liked the butterfly lady and contortionist!

I would love to go see Cirque du Soleil. I have never been and it is our 15th wedding anniversary this month. And I always wanted to see this show with my mom, but unfortunately she passed away this year…her birthday is 9/29… the next day. It would be a bitter sweet thing to do in her memory!

What part of Luzia would I really, really want to see?? Well…of course, I am partial to butterfly and horse puppets. And I am hypnotized while watching spinning, swooping, soaring PEOPLE wearing super cool costumes engaged in super-scary feats of strength and balance. They make me gasp in amazement even via video! And of course, cool music and lights, color and water and risk-takers galore- what isn’t there to love about Cirque du Soleil? Especially for someone like me who has never been to one of their shows!! Not to mention that this someone (moi) is one who loves the drama and showmanship and spectacle and creativity that my eyes feasted on in the Luzia trailer. If I was able to attend the show, I know I would be immersed in and delighted by everything Cirque is aiming for an audience to enjoy. Choose me!!
