Ready for some super Saturday fun?
One of our great friends from Birmingham, Cary contacted me about checking out a Lilla Rose hair clip. I’ve seen Lilla Rose around the blogosphere but as my hair is like 2 inches long, I said, “Have you seen my hair lately?” Just kidding, I said, “Lydia has the most perfect thick hair ever! We’d love to try a clip!” So, she sent us two pretty flex clips. Have you ever seen these? They are seriously the coolest thing.
It’s like two connected pieces and you can maneuver the back to get around a big chunk of hair (like Lydia’s) and the clip remarkably stays in place and like Lydia said, “It feels good.” Since we got two sizes of clips, Lydia decided one was perfect for her American Girl doll, Rebecca. So, of course, they could be twins.
Lydia loves to style Rebecca’s hair and this purple Lilla Rose clip is in Rebecca’s hair more often than not! So, as we thought about our Lilla Rose clip and our love for Rebecca, we made a little video for you on how to curl (and display a clip) in your American Girl Doll’s hair. Something you have all been dying to know, I’m sure. (But if you do have an American Girl doll, you will be interested. As we got all this information from the American Girl Doll hair salon, when Rebecca got her hair done. Oh, yes she did.)
Did you see the pretty Lilla Rose clips? Well, my camera didn’t focus on them very well. But they are super pretty. Don’t you want one? Cary is giving away three $15 gift certificates to go towards your very own Flex Clip.
These would be perfect Easter basket gifts, y’all! They even have some clips with butterflies and crosses on them. Check out this video from Lilla Rose to see which size you might need or check out these videos on all the ways you can style your hair with them. I am terrible at doing Lydia’s hair but these videos are inspiring! I may bust out a french twist on her one day!
This giveaway is sponsored by Cary Coker, an independent consultant with Lilla Rose.

My daughter was recently given a hand me down American Girl doll whose hair needed a little loving. We took her to the AG doll store & got her fixed up. I love the video to see maybe we can try it ourselves at home!

I love Lilla Rose. My daughter does not have an American Girl doll (yet) but great idea with the video. I love all the hair clips but the Flexi of the Month (Emerald Dream) is probably my current favorite! Thanks!

My favorite would be the “open flower jet” but they’re quite a few cute ones! My daughter would love them too!

I am a little sad to say that we are both a Lilla Rose and American Girl doll free house–even with (gasp) 3 little girls! We made the decision with girl #1 that if they want an American Girl doll they can buy it with birthday money (they certainly could) and so far, nobody has… but we are amply dolled if nobody does (although #3 is 4 months old so I have hope.) I am not a hairdo diva either, and my 5 year old is surpassing my skills, but the Lilla Rose makes it look so easy. So I’m throwing my hat in–pick me! 😉

We love Lilla Rose! I’ve had a large clip for my long hair for years now. I bought two minis for my girls for Christmas and my youngest sadly lost hers in the snow. 🙁 I’d love to be able to replace it for her! (It was purple with a butterfly. <3)
Erin says
I loved watching the video with my daughter! I have never tried a Lilla Rose clip, but they look like something that would be perfect for my daughter or me. It would be hard to choose who gets it! 🙂

I LOVE Lila Rose! I was blessed with some as a Christmas present and I requested two more in a smaller size for my birthday. They stay in place, they don’t pull or hurt my head and they are like hair candy they are so pretty.
Michelle says
The fairy aurora borealis would be a hit with my girls–I think you are right they would be beautiful for Easter!
Our Family for His Glory says

I love Lilla Rose products. I think that they are so stylish and comfortable! As a momma of three small kids who always has her hair pulled back, it is nice to be able to pull my hair back and still look nice!

No American Girls here and I’ve never heard of Lilla Rose. But I’m so intrigued! I think I need one of those Flexi Clip things!
EBPitcher says
I think I’d like to try the medium Simple Band Flexi Clip, although the Princess Tiara is mighty tempting!

Commenting in case Canadians can be in this giveaway. 😉
My first Lilla Rose flexi clip is on its way to me in the mail, so I don’t have a personal review story yet. But if I won a GC, I’d buy the next smallest size so I can put my hair up in more ways. I love the many designs. For my first one, I opted for the Celtic cross (Irish + Christian = no-brainer, hee hee) and for my second I would probably pick a rose design (favourite flower). I’m tired of barettes that slip out and elastics that just don’t result in the look I want, so I’m hoping Lilla Rose products are practical for me AND pretty!

How beautiful! I have a couple little girls who would adore those clips! I think I’d have to let them choose though…it’s just too hard for me! They don’t have American Girl dolls yet, but my oldest has been patiently saving for one!
Mary says
I would really enjoy a flexi hair clip. Its hard to say my favorite, because many of them look great, but if I had to choose i think I would say the Rich Multi-Cluster Freestyle b/c of the variety of colors.
Beth Zeimet says
THose are beautiful, my little american girl and by big american girl would both look precious in those. Is she from Birmingham, AL?

My girls both just got an American Girl doll from their grandparents…. they tell me over and over, “Mom you can brush their hair dry,” and yet, I still try. Thanks for the giveaway, they have some really cute styles, I think my girls would love them. 🙂

Oh what a pretty clip! My daughter has Caroline, with beautiful but difficult to manage hair. It’s been a learning curve for both of us but we love her curls.

The pink fairy and music lover are my favorites!

We have several American Girl-ish dolls around here, most of which have sad looking hair. Thank you for the giveaway; with 3 little girls in the house, I’m always looking for cute hair things that are easy and stay in place. These look like they’ll fit the bill!
Kathleen says
All of the styles are so cute! I think I love the princess tiara (and my girls would all be sold on it by name alone!)
Elizabeth says
We have Kit and since her hair is short and straight it’s relatively easy to care for – my Lydia does enjoy sitting her in the salon chair and fixing her up. 🙂
Joyce M. says
