I’ve known how to cut a heart from paper since I was a little girl! But I have never ever figured out how to do a star from paper–until now! Here’s a less than 90 second video tutorial on how to cut a perfect star from paper with just one cut! Enjoy!

Did you know that if you take a long strip of paper, like 1″ wide and 18″ long, and fold it in an overhand knot, like when you start to tied your shoes, or a bow, and pull it snug, when you hold it up to the light, you’ll see a 5-pointed star? This tip of yours is excellent, wish I had known it years ago.

Thanks so much! I showed this to the kids and my daughter thought it was sooo cool! I think I will be using this for notes to customers in the brochures I leave them about sales. Thanks for a quick easy and cute idea!
