I don’t fear much. Spiders, heights and thunderstorms don’t bother me. It’s the things you don’t talk about that bring butterflies and heart palpitations. What would it be like to awake and not wonder if your kids were going to turn out ok, without wondering if your Dad will see your daughter get married, if you’ll be a widow before your time?
I think the only way to do this is by living hand in hand and step by step with the One who casts out fear.
When I align myself with the heart, the mind, the will and the joy of the Lord, I find strength.
When I live and look with resurrection-colored glasses, the things that seem paralyzing are suddenly leaping and running.
When I take my thoughts captive, chained by the Truth, I discover the things that ran away with my imagination are actually MORE than I could ever ask for or imagine.
A life of no fear–a day with no fear is one enveloped, cocooned and even marionetted by the fingers of the One who created light and life and said It Is Good.
