We got a new TV. It’s one of those big flat screen thingies that you hang on the wall. It is pretty impressive. Since we’ve had our old TV (the only one we have in our house) for over 12 years we thought it was time to upgrade!
The very first thing we broke out on our new TV was a new DVD. Veggie Tales’ new compilation DVD called Happy Together. It’s basically just 3 past episodes–Sheerluck Holmes, Esther and Grapes of Wrath. (I love the Grapes of Wrath song, it cracks me up!) So, it’s a themed DVD focusing on faith, family and friendship! (How great would that be for the Letter F?)

What’s fun about this (and makes it better than just a little compilation) is that there is a cartoon woven throughout the show where real kids are interviewed but they are veggies. Wait, that’s not right. Real veggies are interviewed, but they are actually kids. The point is–kids were interviewed and now look like veggies. *sigh* You’ll just have to see it to understand it!
My kids wanted to watch all 80 minutes of it at once. Instead, we just watched one section (oh, and a silly song, too! I forgot there are silly songs on it!) and the kids were ecstatic that the scripture for Sheerluck Holmes was Proverbs 17:17–their Dragon and Turtle verse!

Seeing my daughter’s face light up and hearing her say “WOW” when she sees something she likes or something new to her. It changes my perspective on the world!

Spending time with my family!!
My kids and my husband make me happy. But most of all the grace and forgiveness that I’ve received from the Lord!
We recently rented a few Veggie Tales DVDs from the library and my daughter loves them – especially Sweat Pea.
Seeing my baby smile makes me very happy.
Listening to my 4 year old daughter sing along with the VeggieTales songs. Such big concepts, and she understands them thanks to them 🙂
What makes me happy is seeing my 3 year old looking through her Bible, singing Chrisitan songs, watching Veggie Tales and other christian DVDs and books! That is what delights my heart!
My daughter still loves to watch vrggietales–and I love them too! It’s so hard to find decent shows for kids! Thank you for Veggietales!!!!!!!
The giggle of my 4 year old always makes me smile!
Spending time snuggling with my son.
Sitting down at the end of the day with a happy, content baby on my knee, watching my 2 year old wrestling with his dad…hearing the laughter is just the best thing….that makes me happy!
I think it’s great that Big Idea is putting so many stories together in DVD form for families. I love Veggie Tales!
I am happiest just watching my kids learn and grow everyday. I have 17mo boy/girl twins that show me the pleasure in the little things I have forgotten over the years. I also have a 16 yr old and a 11yr old….I am so blessed!
Watching my kids become engrossed in their Veggie Tale movies and then acting out what they have watched makes me happy. Seeing God work in my kids always makes me the happiest though.
Spending time snuggling with my son reading books
Whats makes me happy is spending quality time with my kids and enjoying their smiling faces.

My kids watched VeggieTales and now our grandson that is almost 2 loves them just as much as our kids did. They never get tired of the Veggie Tales
That’s awesome! It makes me so happy seeing Elias turn his face to the “heavens” so he can be face to face with God now… and then watching Donovan process it and do the same thing.
Seeing my sons smiling face every morning!!!
Our seven year old recently asked Jesus to be her Savior. Yeah. That’s Happy!
So many things including movies with a good message!
At night when we pray and my two year old now gets involved….hearing what he thinks is important to pray for amazes me and brings so much joy to my heart!
Watching my 5 year old play with her baby sister makes me happy.
Our granddaughter makes us very happy!!! We love that she loves to watch Veggie Tales!! =)

What makes me happy is being able to stay at home with my son and watching him learn and grow!
Snuggling on the bed and reading a book with my beautiful 4 year old son!
What makes me happy is just having my son back in my life. After him living with his dad for 4 1/2 years, I’m completely ecstatic to have him home. No longer do I take the everyday mundane routines for granted. I get up early to make his breakfast before school and make sure I’m there to pick him up on time!!! And we sing silly songs while cleaning and doing chores!!!!
