Do you remember back in March when I updated Day 3 of my Moms Panel Training? The very last line was, “Hope you can wait till August when I update next!”. I totally wrote that sarcastically KNOWING I would SURELY update before AUGUST! And oh my goodness gracious sakes alive, if I don’t update it today or tomorrow then it will be SEPTEMBER!
So, in honor of the 2011 Panel search coming up in September, the amazing Moms’ class of Twenty-Ten and Darby who commented “Don’t make us wait til Aug…” on my Day 3 update, here is DAY FOUR OF THE 2010 DISNEY WORLD MOMS PANEL TRAINING EVENT!
We began with a little meal in one of the ballrooms of the Contemporary. Not sure what we ate, but apparently I felt the need to brush my teeth afterward. Thank goodness Disney Dad Marc brought some mini toothbrushes.
Then we were ushered into another room where we began computer training along with legal mumbo-jumbo instruction. I cannot remember tell you all the top-secret Mickey Mouse stuff we learned this day. But I’m sure you would be jealous if you knew.
All I do remember is that you can send secret messages on the Moms Panel dashboard. Not that I was sending those messages when I was supposed to be listening, of course.
In the middle of our training, just as we were getting restless, we stopped to watch a clip of Disney’s The Princess and The Frog. When the clip was over the music didn’t stop. And I knew–KNEW that something was happening! And sure enough Princess and Tiana and Prince Naveen walked through the door. And true to form, all of us began shrieking, crying and giggling. You might remember my live vlog about it.
After they left us, there was more training, more food and a little commercial by one of my favorite places at Disney–the Disney Florist. They are the ones responsible for the huge in-room celebration I received at the #magicalmoms event and the pink deliciousness on Day 1. I am going to secretly set up a little in-room celebration for my family when we go to Disney NEXT MONTH!
Day 4 was a crazy whirlwind of a day because after lunch we loaded up on a bus and went to the ESPN Wide World of Sports. If I was into sports it would have been super cool. Since I only like Disney and NOT sports it was only “cool”. We did get to try out the 3D tv to watch some snowboarding…or skating…or maybe it was football? Anywhoo. That was kinda neat.
Then FINALLY it was time for a park–we went to Epcot and ate at Marrakesh in Morocco. There was lots of delicious food and maybe a little belly-dancing…
After dinner we waited around the American Adventure (and got our picture taken with Mr. and Mrs. Claus…does anyone have a picture of that?! Suzannah saves the day:
Ho Ho Hoop Dee Doo!!
(and now back to your post…)
before we got to enjoy the amazing and breathtaking Candlelight Processional. This is a beautiful Christmas celebration about…you’re not gonna believe this…Jesus. That’s right, we actually heard THE Christmas Story at Disney World! It’s a musical show with a full orchestra, huge choir and my favorite part is the conductor and the sign language translator! {Look! I even answered a question about my love for the Candlelight Processional!}
Anika Noni Rose {voice of Princess Tiana} narrating the Christmas Story
So, here I am sitting at Disney World with my new Disney BFFs waiting to hear the story of Jesus’ birth when lo and behold, the craziest drunk guy I have ever met sits down in front of me. I have been trying to locate my tweets from that night because I just don’t think anything funnier has ever happened to me. Joel, Jonas, Suzannah, Trina, Andi and I were trying not to laugh at this guys’ face while tweeting about him behind his back. *happy sigh* I am laughing just thinking about it.
And Christmas didn’t stop with the Candlelight. As soon as that was done we jumped (hopped) over to the Magic Kingdom for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. And oh! Can I just say that it was like seeing the Castle for the first time again? Such a very fun party. (OK, maybe the Stitch show wasn’t that great…) But free cookies? Free hot chocolate? A very merry Christmas parade? Snow on Main Street? I’m sorry, you just can’t get more magical!
Castle Dream Lights
Unless! You decide to stay for Disney’s EXTRA MAGIC HOURS and go to Magic Kingdom until 12 in the morning! Joel, Brenna, Maria and I went to Mickey’s Philharmagic (or did we? I know I left my ticket & room key there…), Pirates of the Caribbean and…what else? All I know is it was so fun and crazy that we were Disney-drunk-tweeting. (That’s when you are so crazy high on Disney that you just tweet the most ridiculous random things ever.)
And that was Day 4.
Should I just go ahead and do Day 5? It’s the day I went home so it’s kinda sad.
Nah, I’ll just wait. April of next year might need a good Disney post…
{And here’s Day 1, Day 2, Day 3}

I haven’t even read the entry yet but I had to comment after seeing the pics. LOVE. The first pic was your contact pic on my phone before I got my new one I loved it so much! In the pic of you with Tiana I thought “Ooh, I was standing right in front of her!” And I’m SO glad you got Drunk Guy captured for posterity. Ok, now to actually go back and READ. Maybe at some point I’ll finish writing mine?? That’d be a good project. 😛

Oh my goodness finally! 🙂 I’ll give you till December to report day 5 or I’ll have to take you off my Google reader! hee hee! Just kidding , I love love love your updates!
What a fun amazing time. “Disney Drunk tweets” I love it! That insane happy feeling of running around the last 45 mins the park is open trying to get on as many rides as you can! The hubby and I closed down Space Mt back in May at 2am, TWO AM!!!! I’m a 40 year old mom of three and was acting like I was 16 again. (and it was FAB!)
Say hi to Mickey next month for me, super excited for you, heck I’m super excited for anyone heading to my happy place!

Between me and my husband we’ve owned more MP3 players over the years than I can count, including Sansas, iRivers, iPods (classic & touch), the Ibiza Rhapsody, etc. But, the last few years I’ve settled down to one line of players. Why? Because I was happy to discover how well-designed and fun to use the underappreciated (and widely mocked) Zunes are.

I think that what you wrote was actually very logical. However, what about this? suppose you added a little content? I ain’t suggesting your information isn’t solid., but suppose you added a title to possibly grab folk’s attention? I mean Disney World Mom’s Panel Training 2010: Day 4 | ohamanda.com is kinda plain. You could peek at Yahoo’s front page and see how they create article headlines to grab viewers to click. You might add a related video or a pic or two to grab readers interested about everything’ve written. Just my opinion, it could bring your posts a little bit more interesting.
