You are here: Home / me / Camp Primo 2010.

Camp Primo 2010.

It’s that time of year—Camp Primo! And just what is Camp Primo? That would be “cousin camp” for all you uninitated. Every year my parents do a big two night camping experience for the grandkids. Yes, even when there were only 2 grandkids to choose from!

(you do see their camp t-shirts don’t you?)

It is probably the highlight of Lydia’s year. And I know this year Asa will be in straight up heaven! Here he is just in Mama and Daddy’s driveway as we were dropping them off. He’s already trying to fish. (Yeah, that is a Barbie fishing pole…)

If you haven’t read about previous Camp Primo experiences, I promise you it is worth the read. The first year Lydia was only 18 months old. The second year they camped out IN A TENT at Stone Mountain Park. Last year they had a cabin and this year…well, we’ll wait and see how it goes.

I’m pretty sure Asa is going to come back as a little Davey Crocket…

And where am I while my kidlets are gone for 3 whole days? Well, that’s a post for another day…

ps–if you’re lovin’ the camp stuff, check out our 2 Weeks Of Summer Camp at Impress Your Kids!

Looks so much fun! What a great relationship building time for your parents and kids….and I’m sure many ways for them to invest in your kid’s lives! Please give an update after the weekend!

So fun! And they even have custom t-shirts for the experience! Love it.

What a great idea — so much fun for the kids (and you!!). I’ll slyly forward this post to my parents.

Welcome!
