You know, I just looked at that Paula Deen recipe and it’s so much like a breakfast casserole recipe I have been making for years. Here it is, if you’re interested…
6 eggs
1/2 cup of milk
1 tube of crescent rolls
2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese
1 lb sausage
salt and pepper
Preheat oven to 375. Brown sausage in a pan and drain. Place rolled out crescent rolls into a 9×13 pan, pressing the seams closed and spreading the dough to the edges of the pan. Put cooked sausage on top of the crescent rolls. Sprinkle cheese on top of the sausage. Beat eggs and milk together and pour over sausage and cheese. Add salt and pepper to taste. Bake for 30 minutes. Enjoy!
My family loves this and it’s so good and easy! It’s also great reheated the next day! I’ve also added spinach before and that’s really yummy.
Your kids look adorable! 🙂 I hope you are all getting adjusted to your new house!
I got Bug that Paula Deen kids cookbook for Christmas. What says my first Christmas better than a Paula Deen cookbook?
