HUGS! It will get better, I promise! I so wish I was close enough to come help, even if it was just to keep you company.

Oh Amanda! I’m sorry you had such a hard day! Call me if you need me! I can hold sweet newborn boys for hours. (Without them crying…well probably not, but I could try!)

It truly will get better. The adjustment from one child to two is rough. Before you know it you will be a pro. Try to keep smiling and take it one day at a time.

BIG pat on the back. I always tell myself when things get bad “this too shall pass”. Try to enjoy your little ones and give yourself big props for ANYthing that makes the list of things you got done. Even nursing ONCE is a big accomplishment. AND going to the doctor on the first day?? AND you washed dishes!! You’re a supermom today!!

Oh I’m sorry!! I feel the pain … I’ve been taking temperatures on both little ones today too!!

    It’s tough, I’ll be praying!

My first thought about Lydia is a uti. Mae had one at Lydia’s age, but I suppose your docs would have ruled that out. I’ll pray for Lydia too. 🙂

    Hang in there!

Oh amanda… I’m sorry it’s pretty sucky over there… your confession of tears made me want to spill a few of my own.

I’m sure you dealt wonderfully with the things thrown at you today! Sounds like a pretty rough first day though. Praying it’ll get easier for you!! xxx

Oh, sweetie…. That first day is so scary on its own – throw in a sick Lydia and even a broken dishwasher?!? I’m sending big hugs and prayers your way!

It gets easier. Really. I don’t think I’ll ever forget those first 20ish days of the latching on! ouch. I also thought uti when you mentioned fever and frequent tinkles. I am praying for you all.

Girl, I was there not too long ago. I haven’t forgotten the pain and the craziness. I definitely feel for you. If it’s not one kid, it’s another. Too bad not everyone can see that superhero cape that you’re wearing :-).

I am sorry you are having a rough day. I hope things get better with nursing. I had a rough time with Lance and my OB said it would be easier the second time, yeah right, but it did get better faster. Hang in there.

Oh my goodness. These rough days will soon become a distant memory and will only make you stronger because you survived them 🙂

Oh Amanda, I’ve been right where you are. I’ve sat on that couch and sobbed while my crazy 2 year old bangs his head against a wall but I don’t dare move because the baby is finally latched and quiet. It DOES get better I absolutely promise. Hang in there – drop me an email if you need to vent! I hope Lydia feels better soon, cuz that absolutely stinks!!!!

Rather than leave you the longest comment ever, I just stole Shanna’s idea and wrote a post about my own memoirs in your honor 🙂
It absolutely will get better, sweetie. I’ll be praying for you and poor little Lydia.

I am so behind! First of all, congrats!!! I will be praying for you. Those first few weeks are SO rough. I remember thinking…I am a mess. Jugs the size of a playmate, getting over a human coming out down there, cramps like you wouldn’t believe everytime he nursed…But it gets better! I promise! And it is worth the first miserable days!!!!

With havin so much written content do you ever run into any issues of plagorism or copyright infringement? My site has a lot of completely unique content I’ve either created myself or outsourced but it appears a lot of it is popping it up all over the web without my agreement. Do you know any solutions to help reduce content from being stolen? I’d definitely appreciate it.

I have observed that in the world these days, video games would be the latest popularity with kids of all ages. Often times it may be impossible to drag the kids away from the games. If you want the best of both worlds, there are various educational games for kids. Interesting post.

Welcome!
