Is is seriously Friday? I have about 4 great posts in my mind and just haven’t had the time to write ’em down! I still haven’t done my Sunday sermon recap or told you about Lydia’s trip with her Grandmama & Papa. And today I’m not going to have much time either. Lydia and I are driving Yancy to her next gig which is like an hour away…but we’re stopping at a big mall on the way…which means Lydia won’t have a nap again today. That will make only two naps out of 7 days. Fun times for me.
ANYWAY, if you haven’t stopped reading I’m sure it’s because you know what’s coming up…the winners of my 2 contests! Can you believe I had 2 contests this week?! How fun! And really, it was fun! I wish I had made oh ho ho a post-and-link contest because you guys had some seriously great (and funny) ideas about Christmas cards. I’m jealous of your creativity. Go back and read the comments because they’re good!
And now, the winner of one set of Robert Sabuda’s cards…(oh, by the way, I just did the random generator thing. Sorry, it’s 7:2am and that’s as creative as I get!)…
bebemiqui from Young Mom in the Big World who said, “I’m chronically awful at sending out cards and gifts!! I’m slowly getting better at it. These cards would definitely help :0)” I hope these cards do help!
I’m really surprised at how much conversation Splitting Harriet generated. A lot of PK’s commented and a lot of ministry people (*wave*). Isn’t it interesting how we all deal with the same things…we just need someone to mention it first? Thanks for sharing with me, I mean it!
So, I random-ed these winners, too. Although, I had to take one comment out because the AUTHOR, Tamara Leigh of Splitting Harriet COMMENTED ON MY BLOG! I didn’t think she’d want to win it…
So, the winners are…
Jen @Joyful Notes! Which is really cool because Jen and I have been emailing, we’ve had the EXACT same ministry job history. We’re dealing with the same feelings and emotions about those experiences, too! Yay, Jen!
Christi @Blah Blah Blog! (Don’t you love that title?!) And look what she said, “I have already wish-listed the book in case I don’t win it! I’m a PK and this sounds like it would be SUCH a fantastic read!! Thanks so much for sharing!!” So, yeah, she should have won! Yay, Christi!
OK, that’s all I’ve got. Lydia and I are watching Sesame Street so I’ll try to crank out another post before Elmos’ World is done, otherwise, have a wonderful weekend (oh, don’t worry, I’ll be nabloposting tomorow, it might just not be very interesting!). And I’ll see you on Monday for Week Three of Oh! Ho! Ho! (and I really hope you’ll come…I know it’s Thanksgiving week, but it’s going to be good!)
