I’ve honestly thought I’d love to be a tour guide. I think I’d be great showing someone around (especially Disney World) and giving them every detail. Once I went on a tour at Disney and the guide asked a question. I answered it correctly and incidently I was the only one to have ever answered it correctly. On her watch anyway. (The question was how can you tell Huey, Louie and Dewey apart? Do you know? Leave me a comment…don’t google it!)
So, picture me as your Bloggy Tour Guide today…(Tour Guide Barbie anyone?)
If you look over to your left, you’ll see some yummy Christmas buttons. The first one is by those terrific twins at 5minutesformom. All you have to do is put up the little button on your sidebar and then enter their many Christmas giveaways. I’ve already entered to win eight different prizes!
The second button down is a gorgeous Christmas one from BooMama. She’s having her annual (?) Tour of Homes. I guess you get to take pictures of your Christmas decor and hook up to BooMama…and who wouldn’t want some of her traffic? She’s read by tens of people daily!
And finally, the sassy Cool Mom Picks. They are giving away $250 from Zutano. Wheee! Plus, they have some great gift guides–including gifts under $10.
Now, if you will direct your attention to the picture below you will see what I WON FROM THE FALL YALL GIVEAWAY!
Elizabeth was giving away one of her very own prints from her etsy shop. And you know how I heart etsy! So, I picked the Christmas one, of course! Go check out her blog and her shop…she’s got some cuuuute stuff!
And a few more links for fun…
Scribbit is hosting a Winter Bazaar for the next several weeks. This week was about Thankgiving…hmmm, what a great idea, celebrate the Holiday that is actually coming up first. She shares a creative holiday idea, then sets up a Mr. Linky so you can share, too. Go check it out!
If you are remotely into design, style or super cool decor, you MUST be reading this blog. It is updated all the time and full of stuff that’s so cute I can hardly look at it.It’s called Design*Sponge and if I was writing a new byline it would be, “Design*Sponge, it will make you feel down right dowdy.” Good, huh?
And one more for my friend Amber. Will you pray for her unborn son, Nathan? He has been given lots of markers for Downs. But He was also given life by God, the Creator. Let’s pray for them, ok?
That’s all I got! Don’t forget, tomorrow I’m announcing the winners for the Robert Sabuda cards AND the Splitting Harriet book! Wow-wee, we’re having some fun this week aren’t we?!
*updated to add* My Pushing Daisies recap is up at the Disney Blog! Go read and comment, ok?
That is some fun stuff, my friend! Where do you find it all???
OK…I didn’t know the Huey, Dewey & Louie thing, but I couldn’t wait until you answered…so I did google it. (sorry!). I’m not answering here, since I’m a big cheater, but I will say that my triplet nephews (not identical, but they looked a lot alike at birth) had the same “markers”!
thanks for the heads up on all the fun.
and . . . to google or not to google, hmmm.
Great links! I visited Amanda’s blog and left a message for her. My brother also has Down’s Syndrome.
I liked the Design Sponge link! Thanks, very cool!
Amanda, you’re amazing! How in the world can you be such a blogger extraordinaire, but also keep up with so many, and also be a loving wife and mother? I am in awe. Seriously. You should get a medal. Or a big trophy. Of a toddler on your hip and your laptop under your arm.
Diddo Candace!
Or is it Ditto?!
I always wanted to be a tour guide, too! Especially at WDW – but I am nowhere near as good as you are on the Disney trivia. 🙂
oooo oooo oooo . . . all so good. I’m going now!
