I know you’re all anxiously awaiting a new Amanda-party, but I’m just too tired to relive one of them! Today is the day I want to crawl in the bed and read and read and read. Or eat and eat and eat. Or sleep and sleep and sleep. They all sound good.
So, instead, I thought I’d try something I’ve seen on a few other blogs: Wordless Wednesday.
Oh my gosh, is that the cutest thing ever? I so want Lydia to love to read. The book she’s looking at here (upside down) is “B is for Betsy” by Carolyn Haywood. Mama read it to me when I was little. I’m reading it to Lydia now.
Oops. I forgot, it’s WORDLESS Wednesday.
More partying tomorrow! (oops! Shhhhh!)
(ugh…It’s Thursday and I totally wrote this yesterday and hit “publish”…why didn’t it publish?!)
(I know, I know, more words…sorry.)

Hahah–you had me going there for a while. Thought I’d lost track of what day it is.
So if you read to Lydia, you have a better than average chance she will grow up to be a reader too. She’s already loving stories and you, the most important person in her world just now, are modeling that love for books.
Very cool to see you want to pass that on to her.
Hey, thanks for stopping by A Christian Worldview of Fiction. Your name is entered in the book door prize drawing.

LOVE that picture of Lydia. I also love to read to my girls and buy books out the wazoo. Hopefully they will enjoy it as they age.

Absolutely love this picture. And I love that the book is upside down. Do you know how many parents would freak out and turn the book around?
