So. Daddy has gone to the doctor about 12000 times in the past two weeks. Or has it only been one week? Who knows. Anywhoo–
THE GOOD NEWS
1. The CAT scan results came back NORMAL. YAHOO!!
2. Before the HepC meds, some of his liver enzymes that are supposed to be UNdetectable were all the way up in the millions. In the 5 weeks that he’s been taking the medicine, the enzymes have plummeted to the 100,000’s. That is very encouraging.
THE KINDA GOOD NEWS
1. Daddy’s white blood cell counts have risen from 1 to 5. They should be at 10.
THE NEWS WE NEED TO PRAY ABOUT
1. Daddy’s platelets are low. {begin dumb layman’s terms} Basically if they get too low it’s similar to blood diseases (ie. luekemia, lymphoma and even how chemo treats your body). I really don’t know how to describe it better. The point is the numbers should be up in the 100,000’s and it was at 70,000 yesterday and 60,000 today. If it gets down to 50k (or 30, I can’t remember) they may either hospitalize and/or take him off his HepatitisC meds.
Like I already mentioned, his HepC meds are working. If he goes off of those, who knows? will he have to start over? will this happen again? will it set him back in his recovery? what happens to your liver if you stop the meds in the middle of treatment?
SO. Thank you for all the prayers. Thanks for all the well-wishes, tweets, emails, facebook messages and comments. I really don’t have a great ending or even a scripture or anything. Just a plea, pray for Daddy. I believe God does miracles. That’s all.

I will be praying for him and your entire family.

Hi Amanda,I loved your blog. You guys are all so savy…. We are believing for more miracles in your dads life. You guys are all amazing testimonies of Gods Grace and Mercy. Did your dad a great big hug from the So Cal crew.
On another note: can you please be praying for Caleb and Maegen, her grandpa had a heart attack yesterday and is on life support. I took them to the airport this morning and they are trying to get there before he dies. He is in his late 70’s and was fishing with his wife when it happened. He knows the Lord and has had an awesome life. Thanks for your prayers we love and miss you guys.
Praying continually!
God is most certainly still in the miracle biness. Fo. Sho.
And I will be praying for your dad, your family and his team of doctors and nurses to make the right decisions for him to keep getting healthier. I appreciate all your info and willingness to ask for prayer and help.
Hugs and prayers,
Hillary

wow, that’s all I can say. Yep God does miracles and he’s got this all wrapped up no matter what happens. I pray he won’t have to be hospitalized, but you know its all under control, just not ours. Lord have mercy.
Psalm 68: 34Ascribe ye strength unto God: his excellency is over Israel, and his strength is in the clouds.
35 O God, thou art terrible out of thy holy places: the God of Israel is he that giveth strength and power unto his people. Blessed be God.
Thanks for updating. Am thinking of your whole family and sending huge hugs. xo Christine

I’ll gear this review to 2 types of people: current Zune owners who are considering an upgrade, and people trying to decide between a Zune and an iPod. (There are other players worth considering out there, like the Sony Walkman X, but I hope this gives you enough info to make an informed decision of the Zune vs players other than the iPod line as well.)
Great Post! Glad I found your blog! Will be back for more! Thanks
