Little Debbie Muffins (*a giveaway*)

So, a few months ago I went to this conference. When I got my sweet pink swag bag, one of the yummies inside was an entire box of Little Debbie 100 Calorie Pack Triple Fudge Brownies. I was totally excited to open up that box and scarf one down. When I opened it and saw the actual brownie the first words out of my mouth were, “No wonder they’re only 100 calories! They are the size of a quarter!” Well, this is an OK thing to think to yourself. But perhaps, when you are standing by the Little Debbie 100 Calorie snack table later that day (inhaling the other 100 Calorie snacks that are you know, ACTUAL size), it might NOT be the best idea to share your new fudge=quarter theory. Especially if the only person standing around is the PR GUY FOR LITTLE DEBBIE. Yeah.

Well, apparently, Lil’ Deb didn’t hold this agaist me because I got THIS at my front door a few days ago…

Yes, Little Debbie herself (well, at least her smiling face) was waiting for me! And inside this adorable box were FIVE boxes of Little Debbie muffins.

FIVE BOXES.

A fun letter from the PR company was also included. Not a letter that said BLOG ABOUT THIS OR WE WILL TAKE BACK YOUR MUFFINS. Nope. It just said, “Enjoy! And if you want to share the mufifn-love, please do!” (It was probably a little more articulate than that.)

So, I did.

My cousin, Michelle and her husband Al were in town. We each picked out a muffin…I got lemon (which is a limited edition!), Michelle took blueberry and Al got double chocolate (a kindred spirit!). We oohed and aahed over the aroma. We did a countdown and then snarfed.

YUM.

Double YUM.

I’m pretty sure I ate about 10 muffins in the next few days. They are the perfect size. Not elephantine so you can barely choke one down. Not too tiny that you might relate them to oh, a quarter. Plus they are all genuinely yummy. My fave was of course the double chocolate. But I loved the lemon, too. Michelle said they tasted like Trix because they were so fruity.

I finally realized five boxes of muffins sitting in my pantry is not the best idea. So, I threw them in a bowl and took them up to Camp Rocks. I’m not sure what everyone thought of them, but when I came back to get the bowl…well, it was licked clean.

So. Are you sufficiently salivating? Because not only did Little Debbie sit on my doorstop with some muffin-love, she wants to visit you! Little Debbie has GENEROUSLY offered to send the same DELICIOUS box o’muffins to THREE of my fantabulous readers. That’s you!
