Isn’t this lovely? Lydia colored and decorated it the other day. It’s from our new favorite coloring book, What’s in the Bible? Coloring Book.
My kids must color. Know what I mean? Like sometimes they just need to be sitting down, letting their little hands work and their little minds be creative. Sometimes when the house feels crazy, I pull out crayons and we get back into a more even-keel groove.
This coloring book should be called Color Through The Bible as you literally color through most of the stories of the Bible! Asa chose to color one of these pictures for his cousin while she was at camp. He chose David & Bathsheba. Which was a great picture of David holding Bathsheba over his shoulder and carting her off to his palace. I’m sure she loved that. {Grin}
I love it because anything we talk about we can practically find a coloring sheet for—we talked about Psalm 23 and BOOM, awesome coloring sheet. We doing Paul for Bible Detectives and BAM there’s a coloring sheet. Plus, they are all fun and super cute. Have you ever searched for Bible coloring sheets online? Some of them are scary.
What’s really cool about these is that they are all reproducible. So if you are involved in the children’s ministry at your church you can copy eleventybillion of these and pass them out to everyone. THAT is awesome.
Anywhoo. Just thought you should know for your color-lovin’-kiddos.
