We went to Stone Mountain’s Christmas and Snow Mountain a couple of weeks ago and it was so fun! You know I don’t like to slum at non-Disney amusement parks but I was so impressed with how fun and fabulous this event was.
We saw two or three really fun Christmas shows, ate yummy food, saw some beautiful lights, rode a train, met a Snow Angel, went tubing and made a snowman. I mean, how much more Christmasy can you get?!
As we were making our snowman Lydia said, “This is my next story!”. Every week she has to write a story from her life for school. Her exclamation was exactly the same sentiment I’ve uttered a million times, “I am SO blogging this!”
So, I thought I’d share my little writer’s Snow Mountain story with you. Indulge a proud mama, will you?
Snow Mountain

We went to Snow Mountain! We made a snowman! I tried to make a fort but I didn’t finish it because I went on a little tube.
We went on a big tube with Mommy! I was scared the first time. The tube was blue. It was high. We were racing. I held onto Mommy. When we got to the bottom I fell in the middle.
We went on a train. There were no windows in the train. We saw the mountain. I like the lights. I was cold. It felt good. I heard Christmas music.
I got to visit the Snow Angel. I got to sit on her throne. There was a purple pillow for me to lean on. Everything that she was wearing was white.
The Snow Angel made it snow! She was flying in the sky! Then we watched the fire works! Then we went home. I was tired.
The End
She’s a future blogger, right?!
If you live in Atlanta, have you been to Snow Mountain? If you don’t live in Atlanta, what fun Christmasy events do you do in your town?
I was invited to attend Stone Mountain’s Christmas events as a member of the media. All opinions are mine.

My husband and I were both born and raised here in Atlanta and have never made it to Stone Mtn any year for any of the events, I have always wanted too but we have never gone, Snow Mtn looks fun and I’ve heard many friends comment on how great it is, especially since as you know, we don’t see that white stuff much! 🙂 It’s really great to read a blog from someone else here in ATL, 🙂 I would love to know where you go to church, we currently have not planted ourselves anywhere but can’t seem to find what we are looking for either! 🙂
