Things That Wouldn’t Happen if We Exclusively Homeschooled

Here’s my Lydia in her first Thanksgiving play at our awesome hybrid-school. Wearing her grandmother’s velvet dress, cuffs and collar and bonnet made by moi and that adorable, sweet smile is all her own!

The best part of the play is that they let all the siblings who were in school (older brothers and sisters in different grades) miss class to see the play, too. Is that a school that loves family or what?! The room was filled to the brim with moms, dads, siblings, grandmothers, grandfathers and more. It was the sweetest.

Thankful, indeed!

Oh, that’s so very cool. My hubby was always opposed to home schooling because he was afraid that kids who are home-schooled don’t develop proper social skills. But then we had friends recently convince us otherwise because they are linked up to so many other home schoolers and have so many programs they do together each week and so many hybrid classes they take. Home schooling has come a long way!

Howdy just wanted to give you a quick heads up. The words in your post seem to be running off the screen in Firefox. I’m not sure if this is a formatting issue or something to do with browser compatibility but I figured I’d post to let you know. The style and design look great though! Hope you get the problem solved soon. Kudos

Welcome!
