Thanksgiving is just around the corner! How did that happen?! I always like to do special activities around Thanksgiving and although we have started our Thanks & Giving Tree, I’m itching to do more! I’m so excited about this year because both Asa and Lydia are just a little more aware of what’s going on.
As I was thinking and planning what we’re going to do this year, I looked through all our old Thanksgiving posts–and was impressed! (Heh.) I think they are worth sharing again! So, here you go, our favorite Thanksgiving activities, ideas and crafts!
1. Clothespin Turkeys 2.Leaf Letter Wreaths 3. Oreo Turkeys 4. Joyful Jar 5. A Crafty Canned Food Drive 6. Best Thanksgiving Book

Those clothespin turkeys are absolutely adorable! I am going to make some with the kids and make them into napkin rings somehow. That will be a fun craft when the kids are off school this Friday for conferences.

Oooh, great idea! They could be place/name cards, too!

Amanda,
Oooo, makes me miss my kids as “littles”. I wonder what they’d do if I pulled out the ol’ Barney Box. Darling ideas 🙂
ohamanda says
Aw, I think they’d like to do anything with you, Robin! 🙂

What a simple and inspiring idea your Jesus Loves You cans are! I only wish I had been doing that all along. Will start at the next can drive. Thanks for the wonderful idea, which I posted on my new blog to keep the message alive.
