Curlers in Her Hair: A Retro Photo

1961
Hair setting time for Cindy.

Cindy is my mom. She’s 4 years old here. Just the same as Lydia. It’s so cute because I can totally see Lydia doing this same thing and looking at herself in the mirror the same way. Plus, it’s funny because Mama always tells me that she hated putting her hair in curlers because it hurt!

I love posting these black and white pictures because it’s a way to preserve my family’s history. If you would like to do the same (with or without pictures) you need to click over to Mommy’s Piggy Tales a new blog adventure that helps you record your family’s story!

Just guessing that your mom might be around my age. Every single Saturday night I had to sit in the floor while my mother put pin curls in my straight as a board hair. I hated them. A little later Spoolies appeared on the scene, and she used those. Spoolies were rubber and didn’t hurt nearly as much.

Everything typed was actually very reasonable. But, what about this? what if you wrote a catchier post title? I mean, I don’t wish to tell you how to run your website, however suppose you added a headline that makes people desire more? I mean Curlers in her hair: a retro photo. | ohamanda.com is a little vanilla. You ought to peek at Yahoo’s home page and see how they create news titles to grab people interested. You might add a video or a picture or two to grab readers interested about what you’ve got to say. In my opinion, it could bring your blog a little livelier.
