Friday night Lydia spent the night with my brother…or technically her cousin, Nora. About 3:00 in the morning, Lydia started throwing up. She got up 8 times and never went back to sleep. When we finally picked her up, she looked miserable. She feel asleep in the car 2 seconds after we strapped her in. And as soon as we got her home, she threw up again—all over the kitchen floor. *shudder*
Les stayed home with her on Sunday morning. By the time Asa and I got home from church, Lydia was acting like her old self. She ate real food last night (a yummy pasta dish with fresh veggies and pesto!) and went to bed without a fuss.
I went to bed early because today was going to be my first day of getting up early before the kids. But about midnight I woke up and felt a little queasy. Then 1:00 came. I felt almost nauseous. At 2:00 I had to get up and all the yummy pasta I made the night before…well, it made a hasty exit out of my mouth.
And now, I’ve got to figure out how to keep Asa from touching me until I get better.
yuck.
