We’re continuing to learn about how awesome God is…
As Elias dug into a snack of apples, we talked a bit again about how God created the stars and about how awesome God is… and I told Elias that God hid special stars in nature, and whenever we see these stars, we can remember how awesome and amazing God is! Then I cut an apple in half from side to side (instead of top to bottom like I normally do ), and revealed the hidden star inside!
We slathered our apple halves with paint, and proceeded to stamp away at some unsuspecting pieces of paper…
… and we didn’t get much in the way of star prints. I think our best star print is below.
But we made the most of our apple stamps, and now we have a little sign as a testimony of how awesome God is!
I love Amanda’s use of stars as a reminder of patience… for God’s promises and other things! Check out her post here. What else can stars serve as a reminder of?

Love it!!!!
I love the thought that God calls each star by name –
He determines the number of the stars and calls them each by name. Great is our Lord and mighty in power; his understanding has no limit.
Ps. 147:4-5
We can’t even fathom the number of stars! What an awesome God we serve, indeed! 🙂

Awesome idea, Leigh. I just love the whole idea of the stars showing God’s AWESOMEness! 😉
That’s so cool! I never realized cutting the apple like that would reveal stars. 🙂
