I’m on the 10th floor of the Hotel Preston in Nashvegas. I’m snuggled in a huge yummy bed while my pirate, Asa snoozes away. I think everyone (according to twitter and the #blissdom09 hashtag) is donning their cocktail dresses and getting ready to snarf some blisstinis. (Is snarf a word? It’s fun to read, type and say.) I won’t be downing any blisstinis, but uhm…Little Debbie 100 calorie snacks are flowing like milk and honey around here. YUM. I never met a Little Debbie I didn’t like.
Anyway, for all you bloggy fans…I’ve met Mandi, and Jessie, saw Jo-Lynne and Jill. Talked with Stephanie and Dawn, hugged Renee not to mention about 12 other girls I’ve admired from afar. And about 40 more I just started crushing on. In just two sessions, I’ve listened to so many good ideas about blogging and SEO and social media and marketing and scheduling and OFF LINE life that I’ll be digesting it for days. (That and those yummy Little Debbies…)
OK. I don’t really have anything interesting to say. Oh, except swag. Yeah. I likey. Lands End gave us a suh-weet pink bag. Like. A. BIG. PINK. LAND’S END. BAG. And Crocs? Well, I officially *heart* them because they gave me a $50 gift certificate…like for a pair of shoes. HEART THEM.
Dish it baby, dish it. Dish like you’ve never dished before. ๐

Hey, Amanda–I’m writing from the 3rd floor of Hotel Preston! I’m currently wearing my flannel sock monkey pajamas and kicking back before heading down to the pj party. I haven’t met you yet, so I’ll have to try to find you tomorrow…LOVING it here! And yeah, the Lands End bag totally ROCKS! Sweet dreams to little pirate!

I am so jealous, Amanda! Next year, I totally want to go too. I wish I could have gone this year, but with us just starting Dave Ramsey, I had to reign in my spending. (right now I should be on a 3 day bachelorette cruise with one of my best friends at school, but I had to choose that or the wedding, which is also out of state!)
OMG- I just went over to blissdom and saw that Jen Lancaster was a speaker. If I had known that, I would have gone. She is one of my favorite authors!!! (Even though I’ve only read her first book) I also would have given you my book to have signed! Hey- if you get this before you see her and she is selling signed books, will you buy me “Such a Pretty Fat” and “Bright Lights, Big…” and I’ll pay you back?!
Sounds like a good time!!! Hope you’re enjoying it today!!! My hubby just gave me the big okay for next year, so I’ll be there, God willing. He was family in the Nashville area that we can crash with, so Woo Hoo.
Hello from somewhere across the room! I love seeing you here and little Asa. When my kids heard that your whole family would be there, they thought our family should prepare an impromptu family trip. Didn’t happen.
Amanda- I love you! Thank you, thank you, thank you! Wish I was there.
I’m so glad you’re having a good time! And that you now love Crocs! ๐
Yeah, that was a sweet bag. And free shoes!
OH – I’m putting up pics on Tuesday. Loved meeting you.
Sound like a great time!
I am so glad to finally meet you in person. It’s such a strange thing- when you do finally meet, because it’s like we already have! Anyway- hope you got home safely!
Steph
I’ve never met a Little Debbie I didn’t like either. Looks like I’m in good company!
I’m thinking that the pink bag and crocs were worth the trip alone!
It was FANTASTIC to meet you, girlie! The little pirate is adorable! I heart you, girlie!
The conference went by in such a blur. I really wish that we had more time to talk. We are certainly going to have to do an Atlanta meetup sometime soon!
I’m glad that I found your post and your blog – will be bookmarking your blog! Thanks!
Please let me know if youโre looking for a article author for your site. You have some really good articles and I feel I would be a good asset. If you ever want to take some of the load off, Iโd absolutely love to write some articles for your blog in exchange for a link back to mine. Please send me an e-mail if interested. Thank you!
I got what you intend, appreciate it for posting .Woh I am pleased to find this website through google. “Do not be too timid and squeamish about your actions. All life is an experiment.” by Ralph Waldo Emerson.
I certainly like the design of your site. I appreciate the quality of the information. You have done a first-rate job. Thank you very much
Hands down, Apple’s app store wins by a mile. It’s a huge selection of all sorts of apps vs a rather sad selection of a handful for Zune. Microsoft has plans, especially in the realm of games, but I’m not sure I’d want to bet on the future if this aspect is important to you. The iPod is a much better choice in that case.
