Pushing Daisies: What Would Have Happened

I’m over at my parents right now and just picked up their TV Guide. Inside I found an article by William Keck about what was going to happen on our favorite cancelled show, Pushing Daisies (supposedly told to him by show creator Bryan Fuller). Listen to this:

“Chuck would have taken off with her parents–separating her from Ned. But their love never dies. A day in the future would reveal an elderly Ned in a hospital bed. Chuck, appearing as youthful as ever, was to sacrifice her life by offeirng him a kiss.”

*sniff*

WHY DID THIS SHOW GET CANCELLED?!!
