Things I’m Thinkin’ About

1. Somaly Mam’s book, The Road of Lost Innocence. It’s one of those things that makes you wonder if anything else is even worth putting energy forth. Girls being sold as sex slaves. Right now. And I’m blogging. *blech*

2. How the rest of this list will seem very superficial after #1.

3. If I should get a new hairstyle at my appointment today. Or keep my rat tails hair long?

4. If I can get away with vlogging in my car again today…

5. How my 2 year old can be 100% awake in 4 seconds.

6. How it takes my 31 year old body 45 minutes to be 85% awake.

7. Is it Thursday already?! Baby pirate will be here in…11 days!

8. OR LESS!

9. Biggest Loser. Just watched it last night. Finally. I am so happy to see Bob again! Who’s your fave so far? I was sad to see Green go. But the fat around the heart thing was seriously making me want to exercise.

10. Why my hubby sleeps so late that I *have to* iron his clothes so he can be on time for work.

11. What I’m doing this weekend. I can’t wait to show you! It’s going to be very very cool.

12. The word, “flannelgraph”. It’s funny. Flannelgraph. Flannelgraph. Flannelgraph.

13. Glad tomorrow is Friday so you don’t have to endure another list like this…

 (13b. I’m giving away Somaly Mam’s book today…click here.)

Okay, I got so distracted at your “Newbaby” vlogging site. I so want a flip cam so that I can take “fly by the seat of my pants” video of my kids.

Anyway, I heard a woman speak about human trafficking about a month ago. I learned that it’s happening right here in our backyard. I learned that Seattle is one of the main portals for human traffickers to smuggle their victims into the country, then transport them in the U.S. It was an eye opener for me.

Well, have a good weekend (despite all the bad things that occur in this world).

Biggest Loser….watched it! 🙂 I like Bob, but not Jillian. I don’t care for the way she motivates people – anger, yelling and nasty words. She would sooooo not be the trainer for me, I think I’d revolt at the anger alone. Anyway, good thing I don’t need a trainer like that, but yeah, the fat around the heart and lungs was nasty. I liked the green team too! Right now I don’t really have a favorite team, or a least favorite. Give me another week or so.

Praying for you and your Pirate! Can’t wait for the post that says…’I’m off to the hospital’ and ‘he’s here!’!

I wish I could be 100% awake in 4 seconds. It takes me more like 4 hours.

    Several points:
    1. Your vlog rocks, but the driving makes me *very* uncomfortable. I hang up on my mom if she calls me from her cell and I figure out she’s driving. It goes, “No, hon, wait, I’m sitting at a red…” *CLICK* Just say no.
    2. I don’t think I’ve been 100% awake in 4 years except for maybe a handful of times after a Turtle Mocha ( I know you know what I’m taking about!)
    3. I’m a little concerned with this “11 days or sooner” mentality of yours. Not to be a downer, but with my first, I went into labor on my due date. Perfect! I expected no less of Romilly. Perhaps she’ll even come early, I thought, since it’s always the first baby that’s crazy late. Yeah, not so much. *Twelve* days after my due date (one-two days!) she decided to show her face. It was *forever*. Sorry, what a horrible, mean thing to tell you. I’m sure that won’t happen to you or anything, since you’re all effaced and all. I’ll pray for a punctual pirate for you 🙂

Wait ’til your body gets to 57 and see how long it takes to wake up to about 25%, lol.

    It’s 6 p.m. – I’ve made it to 50%!

I did my TT this week on food because I wrote it before I had breakfast and my 12% awake brain could not focus on anything else – so I posted Links to 13 of my favorite Tiny Food Recipes and free recipe cards – Tiny Food is my name for appetizers and finger foods!

    Happy TT!

I wonder if the welfare rolls will be turned over to DHS for rounding up malcontents and dangerous elements if/when things get really nasty? The folks on the free money will be the most likely source of trouble in the future, so knowing exactly where to find them would make it easier to head off social unrest. Come the breakdown in the social services, they’re going to be a threat to good order.
    Just a thought…

Apple now has Rhapsody as an app, which is a great start, but it is currently hampered by the inability to store locally on your iPod, and has a dismal 64kbps bit rate. If this changes, then it will somewhat negate this advantage for the Zune, but the 10 songs per month will still be a big plus in Zune Pass’ favor.

I seldom create remarks, however i did a few searching and wound up here Things I’m Thinkin’ About | ohamanda.com. And I do have a couple of questions for you if it’s allright. Is it only me or does it seem like a few of these comments appear as if they are left by brain dead visitors? 😛 And, if you are writing at other sites, I would like to keep up with anything new you have to post. Would you list of the complete urls of your communal pages like your Facebook page, twitter feed, or linkedin profile?
