By 9:45 this morning I had already made breakfast, cleaned the kitchen, mopped the floor, made dinner and played a rousing game of comb-mommy’s-hair-and-put-clippies-in-it.
Now it’s 12:45 and I’ve taken a shower (good call), vacuumed the whole house, made lunch, put Lydia down for a nap, packed 95% of my stuff for California, made a to-do list the size of Texas and played pretend-to-put-Lydia-and-Snow-White-to-sleep.
And I just hope I can make it to the shoe store and Target and all the other places I have to go today without falling asleep at the wheel or at the cart or wherever.
I’m tired because of the pirate, right? I’m not just lazy?
Gotta go! Stuff to do!

Really, that’s a lot to do for any mom who has a kid to entertain… but for a pregnant mom, hon you are amazing!
I would blame being tired on the pirate. Laziness is a figment of the imagination and doesn’t really exist! 🙂 At least that is what I am going to believe this summer.
Both times my wife was pregnant, she would have hyper-active days. And she usually wound up sick and exhausted when they were over. You never really know you’ve overdone it until you’ve overdone it. So be careful! Go easy on yourself!
