Very cool indeed. I wish I could uncover a trove of photos like that from my family. There are so many cool things you could do with them. Did you see the Martha Stewart segment on the Today show this morning? She used photos like that and turned a silver tray from a consignment shop into a gorgeous Mother’s Day gift.
I find it interesting how people in older pictures didn’t always smile. I think I remember hearing somewhere that they thought it was more like their natural selves.
I had a dress like the lady on the far left in eighth grade!
I love how most of them have hats on. I wish we were more hats no adays.
My WW is totally UNwordless this week! HA!
I love these historic pictures your are posting, Amanda!
I love old photos. This is great. Happy WW!
This is the most incredible photo. I love it. The hats are fantastic and I really like the outfit on the woman third in from the right.
Sometimes I think we’ve lost more than we’ve gained.
I knew you couldn’t do it. but I am glad! you always make me smile! 🙂
I have some old family photos like that. I would love to know the story behind the pic, wouldn’t you? Happy WW
I always look forward to your WW. It must be so incredible to have those photographs and look back and see your family’s history.
