I think you can turn that feature off. It’s probably in the “alarms” section.
You could try dropping it on the sidewalk on the way to the grocery store and busting it wide open… then there’s no alarm. Not that I did that yesterday or anything. 😉
OMGoodness, mine started doing the same ridiculous thing while we were driving home from the doctor’s this morning! I guess it’s better than my phone always being dead though. There’s no way I’d remember to charge it if it were any less obnoxious…
Probably the same reason your smoke detector battery decides to start beeping at 10:00 PM at night or the pull on your fan decides to start banging against the light fixtures at 5:45 AM!!
