A Sleepy Wordless Wednesday

ccf07112007_00002.jpg

My mom’s first birthday (December 1957) playing under her dad’s feet.

I love this picture because it is so very candid. I’m hoping Grandma took it because she thought they looked adorable. I’ve been waiting to post this picture because I really wanted to post a picture of my brother with it. Why? Because he is TWINS to my grandfather. It is freaky. And I can absolutley see J sleeping like that with his daughter playing at his feet. You always think people in your famiy look alike, but when you compare them at basically the same age, that’s when you can see it. (Seriously, if you know my bro, does my grandfather NOT look identical to him?!)

Dads haven’t changed over the years. 🙂 My dad would always fall asleep in his chair. Now my husband does it.

I do see a little bit of Jason in that pic. I just can’t see him wearing those socks!

Totally love the socks and the chair! Fashions change but people don’t – this could be a scene at my house (except the baby would be a boy!).
