It did snow today! Atlanta is so pretty when it is snowing! I so knew it was going to snow this year. I told everyone, but I think they secretly didn’t believe me.
This is so exciting! DC sent me snow pics from Atlanta, as well. They’re up if you want to see them.

I kind of wish it would snow down here in South GA! I haven’t seen in in about 6 years!
We got some too. So excited. It was my little ladies first time to see snow.
I would be happy to send you any more snow down south that we get from Indiana. We should be getting some any day now.

oh, I remember those rare snow days in Atlanta. Good times! Same thing up in Richmond – nothing happening. We’re supposed to get some of what you are getting now, but not much…. sigh. I miss snow.

Had I ever mentioned that my mom is from Atlanta? She grew up near Buckhead. She was an undergrad at Emory when my dad was in seminary at Candler when they met. My grandmother lived in Sandy Springs when I was in high school, and we lived across the TN/GA line in Rossville at the time.
