You are here: Home / blogging / Vacation. The End.

Vacation. The End.

Is coming home from vacation the worst thing ever? I think it is. Driving out of that protective little sleep-late, eat-a-lot, do-nothing, play-games bubble is depressing! The drive home yesterday was immeasurable. I felt like we were driving around the opposite side of the world to get back home. And now that we’re home…my house is a disaster area. My dirty clothes are piled to the ceiling. Lydia is tired. We have no food in the house. And we were only gone 4 days. *sigh*

So, now I’m back and actually blogging, I feel my Monday-ness coming on. I know it’s not Monday but it feels like it. How do you post the day after vacation without sounding like a scrapbook? Well, that’s where my vacation blog comes in. Day One of beach-y fun is here. Day Two might take a little longer because I took the cutest pictures ever.

In other news, I have bought the best Christmas present for my one of my sil’s. Looky here. Are you so jealous? Well, don’t be. You can get one for yourself. And I have it from an inside source that some more fall-ish autumn-y ones will be available soon!

And that my friends, is all I’ve got for you. I’m off to peruse your blogs before Lydia wakes up.

Glad you all had a great trip, but I know what you mean about the gloominess of coming home. Good luck on those dirty clothes.

I felt the same way. Gloomy.
My laundry is caught up (just wait til you have four kids :o) and I have food… but I still wish I was on vacation.
Oh and my last week of blog posts have been a bloggy scrapbook… so I know what you mean, but creativity just escapes me.

Yeah, the return-home-from-vacation blues are the pits. But the good thing for you is that you only have one day before the weekend! 🙂

What a totally cute purse! So, how much did it set you back? My sil would probably love one too! (sure hope your sil doesn’t read your blog!)

I’m lovin’ that purse! Welcome home. Post-vacation let down stinks, doesn’t it? Hope you get everything back in order this weekend.
