Not your Grandma’s Wordless Wednesday

ccf23072007_00010.jpg

This is my grandmother (left) when she was 11 months old. 1931.

I don’t know who the little boy is or where they are.

Notice the barn/house in the background and the huge pile of firewood.

I also like that no once seems to notice a giant rooster running through the picture.
On second thought, maybe they were trying to get the rooster in the picture?

I know there is more to this picture because on the back there is tons of writing. However, it looks like it was also glued into a scrapbook so black paper is stuck to the back! I feel like I’m missing out on a big secret!

Very nice picture! It always drives me crazy, looking at old family photos & not being able to find out the story behind them.

I don’t think that is a rooster but the picture is very cool. I especially like the barn.

What great old photo. Wish I had more from my grandmother’s childhood. Nothing enlightens about family history more than a well placed snapshot.

That really is fantastic. I think the rooster was a prop.
