So I haven’t posted in 2 or 3 days. My blog stats have plummeted. It’s cool. I’ve just had a c-razy weekend!

And I’m staring at the computer screen trying to remember what we did!
I know it was something fun…
Oh! My sil and neice and nephew are in town from Guadalajara (as in Mexico). They are going to language school to be missionaries there. My nephew had to get minor surgery on a cyst in his eye. So, they are here for a couple of weeks. Poor little guy’s eye was bright purple and swollen shut. When he saw his eye the next morning, he said, “Mom, you took me to the doctor and now I only have one eye!” Anyway, Friday we took them to Build A Bear to build a…uhm…bear. They’d never been before so it was really fun. And now they have some stuffed animals to remember their tia, tio and prima!

Oh yeah, we had a garage sale. Ugh. Whoever said garage sales were worth it…LIED. There is no way on God’s green earth, that making 50 signs, buying balloons for a $1 a pop (literally), risking my neck trying to plant those signs on the side of the road and then standing in my driveway for 12 hours is worth it! I did make $120. My mom and sil brought some stuff over and I think total we made $300. But still totally not worth it.
And uhm…oh yeah, we went to church with my il’s. No comment. That night we had a small group Bible Study with some people from our neighborhood. I wasn’t looking forward to it but, it turned out to be a God-thing. God started doing a miracle in someone’s life last night. It was fun to be involved.
But big news is Danny & Oswald did NOT get eliminated from the Amazing Race! It was another non-elimination leg. *whew* That means I’ve got another week to fast and pray that Charla & Mirna will get eliminated. Or as they would say, “Pray ‘dat ‘dey weeel geet eelemenated, my friend!”
Garage sales stink. As much as I do not like to have them I love to browse them.
Yes, yard sales are NOT worth it.
And I love that you are posting about the Amazing Race. I don’t know who I”m rooting for anymore. I was rooting for the blondes, but they’re getting really nasty. I hated Charla and Mirna, but they’re growing on me lately. And Oswald and Danny are pretty funny. The other couple, I dunno, I feel for them, but I don’t really want to see them win it.
And I’m with you about the busy weekend and blog stats plummeting. I’m sad, and yet, I have nothing to say to boost them up again. Oh well.
No kidding about fasting and praying! The blonds Have to win!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can’t wait to see the end!

Amanda, I’m sorry your garage sale was a waste 🙁 I’m suppose to have one next weekend and I must must must get rid of this stuff! You are welcome to bring some of your left-overs to mine so we have one darn huge one and afterwards we can go out for dinner and catch up IRL 🙂 What do you say? 🙂 Heehee 🙂
