Today is one of those random kinda days.
I woke up at 4:45, 5:15 and 6:15. Each time I was coming out of a completely strange dream (like bears and rollercoasters. together.)
I finally got up and pulled on my husband’s socks because I couldn’t find any matched of mine.
Then walked down to the lake. Sat in a rocking chair. Listened to Richard Stearns
Ran home.
Kinda ran home.
The last 50 feet.
Then it started pouring down rain.
I heard my husband upstairs with Asa, so I hid in the closet with my computer.
Yes. The closet.
I didn’t want Asa to know I was back.
He likes to be stuck to my leg.
Our pool playdate got canceled.
So, we went to the library. Where the kids did everything BUT read.
Then off to Chick-fil-a for a Spicy Chicken sandwich.
Now it’s naptime (where I’ve only had to check on Lydia twice–once for bugbites and once because she “forgot” what she was supposed to do after reading her books…uhm? GO TO SLEEP, MAYBE?)
Anywhoo.
I’ve been staring at this screen for the last 30 minutes.
And the only thing that has come to my head is the theme song for Reading Rainbow.
Which by the way, does not even come on my television anymore.

Love the hiding in the closet!!!! I can so relate….but none of my closets are big enough to hide in!
