Birthday & Mother’s Day Etsy Gift Ideas {FOR ME}

in etsy

I haven’t done a good etsy (etsy as in Betsy, etsy as in Betsy!) search in awhile. So, as I was thinking about Mother’s Day (and my BIRTHDAY) coming up, I thought I’d jump into the ocean of crafty goodness otherwise known as etsy. Here’s a few things I found and would love to own give my mom as a gift.

rose hair clip

Oh, I love this big flower hair clip! Do you think I could pull it off with short hair? It’s just gorgeous! Such a fun surprise when you turn around. I want.

vintage necklace

I love vintage-y jewelry. This whole shop is full of jumbled together colorful jewelry. I’d wear any of it!

homemade keychain

How fun is this? So, maybe this would be a good gift for those “other” moms in your life–your aunts, sisterchicks or in-laws. I would want to stare at this thing all day if I had one!

family tree

Family Tree Fingerprint Guestbook Kit by bleudetoi

My very favorite thing ever. I love family trees anyway and this one is delicious! How great would it be to have fingerprints of your whole family? And then adding new ones as new children were born. Oh, it’s too sweet! {They suggest using it as a guestbook at a shower or wedding…oh, the love!}

owl pillow

OK, so I wouldn’t really get a stuffed owl for my mom. And if Lydia got this for me, I would assume she had really gotten it for herself. But if I could get a gift for MY daughter on Mother’s Day…then this is what I would get. It’s just so adorable!

I never really liked silhouettes until I started seeing these full body casual versions. I would adore a sweet silhouette of Lydia and Asa as their 4 and 1 year old selves. I think I have tears in my eyes just thinking about it!

So, any good etsy finds I need to know about?

{how weird is this? i just glanced thru my blog to find the last time i did an etsy post like this. it was earth day last year. creepy.}

So I just love the owls! So stinkin cute! I would love to get those, but I would probably get something like the necklace for my mom.

I only ever shop Etsy when I need something for a special occasion or a gift–not sure why though!

What’s weird is that I did an Etsy post today too–except mine was for boy stuff!

That pretty flower reminded me of a gorgeous velvet flower my daughter just made and gave to me. She wants to sell them on Etsy. I told her to give it a try. I can just get lost there.
I bought the cutest acorns that are made out of wool that I glued together in a round circle to use as a pin cushion. I got it on Etsy. If you want to see her stuff here is the site:

Ooooo…LOVE all of these, but especially that finger print family tree! :) Just lovely! :) I asked for a bench, a laminator & a tortilla press for Mother’s Day…needless to say, I got blank stares. Heehee! I like your ideas WAY more! :) Came over on the recommendation of my bosum friend Catie…she loves it here! Can’t wait to visit more!

Cute gifts! I think you could wear a flower clip with short hair if you positioned it right. It would look nice. I don’t know if your baby would let if stay in your hair for very long, though. :)
