I have to comment on this one…
This is an interesting picture to me b/c this is almost exactly how I remember my Great-Grandmother. She looks “modern” to me. (Relatively speaking, of course.) Agda, on the other hand looks straight out of a covered wagon!
I just wonder about WHY this picture happened. Did they meet just so they could go visit the house? Did Agda still live in Oxford and Hazel came to visit? Was it a perfunctory family time? They look so uncomfortable. Was it sad to be there?
And poor poor Agda. Not that we should be surprised based on her other pictures but still…
