me & the baby pirate. 36 weeks.
I’ve been feeling a tiny bit emotional knowing I’m in the countdown. I’ve got lots of stuff to do—like, I don’t know, making sure the pirate’s room isn’t PINK. Like cleaning my house, like finishing my childbirth books, like cherishing every moment with the baby I have right now, like sleeping and enjoying just one carseat.
To quote my little pirate, “Aarrrrrr.”

Amanda! You are the cutest thing EVER! Let me know if you need any help with anything, ok?
Wow! You look amazing! I love your blog–found it through Amber’s (have known her since we were kids), and I know the desire to get things done. We had our fourth baby in November, and I never did complete his room. Poor baby.:) I also wanted to tell you that my sleeping habits changed forever with baby #2. I get up every day around 6AM, and it first began during my pregnancy with her.
God bless you and your sweet little family during these remaining weeks of your pregnancy!
Aw, you’re such a cute pregnant person. It’s so weird to think that in four weeks there will be another little human in your house. It’s so cool!
I’d come help ya paint, if I lived just a little bit closer.
You look adorable!
don’t forget to add to your list ‘spend time with Lydia and enjoy having just one child as much as possible’. That is my one regret with having my first two so close together (19 months), I wish the gap was a bit bigger so I could have enjoyed just her for a while longer.
Anyway, you’re a great looking prego lady…you wear it well. ๐ Enjoy your last weeks, and the rest thereafter.
Oh my goodness- you look great!
Steph
You are SO CUTE!
So stinkin’ cute!
You are too cute!!! You look great, A!
You look fantastic. I am always the size of a house at the end.
PS. The pirate won’t care if he comes and his room is pink. I think you have a few months before they can see color ๐
That’s an adorable picture!
You look awesome!!! Can’t wait to see pictures of the baby…
oh my goodness, your belly is so cute and little. can you still see your feet?
Hee hee belly-shots are so fun. I’ve got four weeks left this Saturday! And am feeling more than a little disorganised, last pregnancy, I had my hospital bag packed since week 32! I’m as curious as Sarah (above) Can you still see your feet? Mine are fast disappearing and pedicures are becoming impossible, though hubby is getting rather good at painting the tootsie nails ๐ Hope you’re feeling well.
To Sarah & Natalie…I’m pretty sure I can’t see my feet. Not that I want to anyway, they’re just swollen little sausages! ๐
How exciting! You look great!
Hi, came over from your comment. I did some reading and love the site. Had to comment on your cute belly. I miss those days even though I had the worst case of “jimmy legs” ever. I never went crazy with the second childs room, I always want to redo them at a year when I know more of their personality. God bless and can’t wait to see pics of the new guy.
Look at you! You’re such a cute preggo. ๐
Forgive me for commenting on an older entry, but I couldn’t resist! Congrats, you look amazing!
Cute picture, can’t believe I missed it. You’re almost there!
BTW, I found these shoes online and thought of you and your little guy! HA!

Your belly is tiny. You should see mine right now- And our babies are due right next to each other! I wish I could say I was doing better in the preparedness category, but not so much. Her room is painted, but it has no carpet or chair rail. Oh, and we were supposed to be getting a new roof put on our house- 2 months ago. They still haven’t started. They probably will start the day I come home from the hospital- Joy!
Apple now has Rhapsody as an app, which is a great start, but it is currently hampered by the inability to store locally on your iPod, and has a dismal 64kbps bit rate. If this changes, then it will somewhat negate this advantage for the Zune, but the 10 songs per month will still be a big plus in Zune Pass’ favor.
yeah bookmaking this wasn’t a speculative decision great post! .
