My mom kissing her Uncle Chuck at his wedding. (maybe around 1959?)
I’m off to my cousin’s wedding today! So, I thought this old wedding picture would be perfect to share.
I love this one. It’s obviously a professional picture because it’s printed on sturdier paper than the rest of my old pictures. And can you see how posed both of them are?
Did you notice the big white dress and flowers on the left? That’s the bride, my great-aunt Ina. (She is a twin to Ida.)
Mama’s dress, hat, socks and shoes are just perfect. I can just see the photographer making them do this. Adorable!
(ps–I’ll be gone this week but I’ve got some fun posts auto-posting, so check back, ok?)

What a great picture. Your mom’s little dress and bonnet are awesome.
Have a great time on your trip this week!
I love it! Your Mom is so cute in that little dress. 😉
Soooooo cute – – – makes me wonder where the pictures of me in that time period are!!
Hmmm, Uncle Chuck is pretty hot!
Yeah, I like this picture too. 🙂 It made me smile.
Your mother is such a doll in this picture – I mean she really looks like a doll! HA!
Have fun at the wedding!
How precious is that!!??
Have fun at the wedding.
BTW, I’ve been meaning to let you know that I am using your guest post one day while I am gone this week (to SheSpeaks). So you’ll be posting at my place too.

So super sweet! Look at those adorable little shoes and socks, and the dress – ah! It’s too much adorable-ness all in one photo . . . so terrific.
Posed or not… I love it!
What a great picture! Thanks for sharing!
That little girl sure has a fat face!!
An odd thing about this- as little as I am in that picture(not including the cheeks of course), I actually have memories of being at that wedding. Hmmm…
The picture is adorable!
Have a great vacation!
So so so sweet, A.
I miss you. Haven’t see ya in my neck of the woods. I have a WW today that I think you’d get a kick out of. Hope all is well. I’ll be back soon to really read. I just wanted to stop by really quick. Erin just left and I’m exhausted, but trying to do some bloggy stuff which I haven’t done in for-ever it seems! I told Erin the other bloggy friend I’d love to meet some day was you. I think we will. One day! 🙂
love,
Val
That’s the cutest thing I’ve ever seen. Your mom’s uncle wasn’t bad looking.
