I should at least stretch my brain

Time to write on mom
A fitting tribute to her
If only I could!
Mama, it is true
I knew not how I loved you
until this haiku
Well, I guess it’s time
To stop planning what I’d do
with a load of cash…

I teach haiku’s and always miscount the syllables…the kids are much better than I.
I do Haiku Friday, and Ed reads my haiku most weeks. Two weeks ago, I lost a bet on how many syllables a word was. I never bet on ANYTHING. What WAS I thinking?
