I’m sitting in the living room while my dh and his bff play football on xbox. I know some women would complain about htis…but I’m kinda glad. I get to sit here and blog and eat and veg. It’s kind of nice. If only those pretend commentators wouldn’t talk about the plays so much. I can’t stand commentators in real life, much less for a pretend game.
Anywhoooooo.
I feel like I’ve been neglecting my blog lately. For the six or whatever weeks of my bloggy Christmas, I felt like I was online every second (and writing some half decent stuff if I do say so myself!). Now I’ve been posting birthday shout-outs and memes. Sorry about that. My blog keeps calling my name—I have about 5 half-posts in my drafts folder and about 5 more in my head. But my real life keeps taking priority. What’s up with that?!
Today my mom came over to help me get ready for Lydia’s party. Have I told you we’re having a Snowflake Party? It’s going to be so fun! And really really cool (ha!) because I got everything 75% off after Christmas! Woo-hoo! Anyway, today, Mama and I made snowflakes, snowballs, cheeseballs, chocolate covered marshmallows and oreo marshmallows…are you drooling yet? I can guarantee you’ll get more details after Saturday…we did a little photo journaling of our creativity today.
And here’s a little preview of the Snowflake Party…

Are you so excited? Well, I didn’t want to give too much away…some of you are actually coming to the party!
OK, that’s random-boring-post #2 this week. I promise I’ll get with the program soon!

Lydia’s party sounds awesome!
I’m sure _everyone_ will have a great time, especially the birthday girl.
I’m so excited! I meant to tell you that I saw some paper snowflakes at Target, but I think I just saw them in your cool pic! I love the theme!
SO much fun! We still haven’t decided if we’re doing a theme for Elias’s party… I guess I need to get on that!
And I used to be the same way about Josh’s PS2 playing… I would sit and read while he played. Then he gave the system away! True story! Now I have to sit through bad Steven Segal movies to make up for it… sigh…
I wanna come too!
That is sooo awesome! I wish I could be the photographer at this awesome part-tay!
Love the snowflakes!
My boys are turning two in a couple of weeks as well and I just bought several packages of holiday M&Ms – at 90% off – to decorate their cakes…. yeah, post-Christmas sales rock!!
Cool idea! Can’t wait to see more!
