Remember my 30th birthday gift from my parents? A TRIP TO SEE OPRAH?!
Well, the ticketline is open THIS FRIDAY for 5 dates in September. So guess what Mama and I are doing ALL day Friday? Our phones will be glued to our ears!
We’ve just got to get through. I know those people who call for 10 years and can’t get through. But it’s not going to happen to us. I practically have my bags packed, Chicago is calling my name and I’m hoping to even see Val while I’m there!
Is it bad to ask for prayer that we’ll get a ticket? Well, I’m gonna–PRAY WE GET TICKETS! And do not for any reason, try to call and get your own tickets. If I’m anything it’s selfless.

I secretly want to go on Oprah too. I just wish you could be sure what she was talking about when you go…I wouldn’t really want to be there if she was talking about a book like “The Secret” or other quasi-spiritual topic. If she were giving away her favorite things, sign me up! Good luck getting tickets.
