Sometimes I’m just lazy. Being a sahm makes it easy to be so. For example this morning, I’ve colored a picture of Elmo and Harry Monster while Lydia was sitting on the coloring book. I made eggs, poured cereal, filled 2 sippy cups, read Miss Spider’s Tea Party twice, emptied the dishwasher twice, read two pages of Little House in the Big Woods, changed a diaper, swept the floor, dusted, cleaned the mirrors, dumped the trash, folded Lydia’s clothes, washed her hands half a dozen times, cleaned out 4 chunky milk sippy cups, had one time out, endured three screaming fits and been grocery shopping.
But besides all that, I’m feelin’ kinda lazy today.

Girl, I love Mondays. Why? ‘Cause it’s the one day of the week I can STAY HOME!! and not drive my kids ANYWHERE!! Today, the sun was finally out and it was warm enough, so I was lazy, too: outside in my hammock swing. Isn’t being a sahm just the best?! Here’s to more lazy days….
Nice blog!
Yeah. You ARE lazy. haha!! In my book, any day with a grocery trip, chunky milk, AND screaming fits is a day that needs rewarding with a bubble bath and candles for mama. 🙂
Thanks for your comment. It’s strangely comforting to know someone else understands my frustration.
I can’t imagine why you would want a lazy minute.
Man, I know EXACTLY what you are talking about! I am like that on a lot of Fridays. Hang in there…tomorrow will be better. 🙂
Being a SAHM is hard, isn’t it?! I loved every minute of it though!
How in the world do you manage to do all that??!!!
What a momma you are!! I’m proud of you, fellow SAHMomma! 🙂
HAHAHA on the chunky milk. Those are the worst and I usually have 4 or 5 of them in my van at one time.
