I said I’d be back here on Labor Day and here I am!
So, whatcha’ been doing?
The ususal?
Well, glad to hear it.
This month has been (no offense) too short! I’ve actually enjoyed the minimal blogging. I’ve enjoyed having one less thing on my plate. Of course, I’ve had lots of blog post ideas during this down time. I’ve spent a few hours on Pinterest and reading homeschooling blogs. I even (don’t tell anyone) started a secret homeschool blog. I had to! I couldn’t let this first year of school go by un-chronicled. But I haven’t even posted a picture on it. It’s a for real weblog of our day. Who’da thunk you could use a blog that way?!
Anywhoo. We’ve had lots of fun (and a few tears) this past month. We’ve transformed our playroom into a schoolroom. My son has become an only child 2 days a week and my daughter has turned into a GROWN UP. And I’m different, too. This is a new season. A new time of life. It’s fun being in a new season. At the same time it’s hard and exhausting.
Thank you for allowing me to rest in this new beginning. Can’t wait to see you and your lovely Top Ten posts tomorrow!

Glad you’re back, but I’m glad you had a good break!
I’m glad you’re back! And, I can’t wait to hear all about Lulu’s school and all!
I am glad your back. No address to your homeschoool blog. How about if I beg? Please let me see it. Pleases please please?
I so needed to read this. I know I’m not the only mommy who feels that way and it was good to see that I’m not alone. Great post!
Amanda,
Thank you for the example that you continue to set through your blogging. We can’t just say that Jesus is first and our family is next, but not live that out and I think you demonstrated that beautifully! 🙂
All the best as you teach Lydia this year- thanks for sharing your journey!!!
Love,
Becky
P.S. And for what it’s worth, I missed you too. It’s fun to follow you on Pinterest!!!

This is getting a bit more subjective, but I much prefer the Zune Marketplace. The interface is colorful, has more flair, and some cool features like ‘Mixview’ that let you quickly see related albums, songs, or other users related to what you’re listening to. Clicking on one of those will center on that item, and another set of “neighbors” will come into view, allowing you to navigate around exploring by similar artists, songs, or users. Speaking of users, the Zune “Social” is also great fun, letting you find others with shared tastes and becoming friends with them. You then can listen to a playlist created based on an amalgamation of what all your friends are listening to, which is also enjoyable. Those concerned with privacy will be relieved to know you can prevent the public from seeing your personal listening habits if you so choose.
Fantastic submit admin! i bookmarked your web website. i’ll search forward in case you can have an e-mail list adding.
Hello, i think that i saw you visited my website thus i came to “return the favor”.I’m trying to find things to enhance my website!I suppose its ok to use some of your ideas!!
Apple now has Rhapsody as an app, which is a great start, but it is currently hampered by the inability to store locally on your iPod, and has a dismal 64kbps bit rate. If this changes, then it will somewhat negate this advantage for the Zune, but the 10 songs per month will still be a big plus in Zune Pass’ favor.
