This is Part 4 of Retro Photos of My In-Laws!
This picture is my husband’s paternal grandfather’s paternal grandparents. (There HAS to be another word for that!) Don’t they look like they’ve had such a hard life? It’s sad. But also inspiring.
I asked my husband’s grandfather about this picture and about his grandparents. The only thing he really said was that his grandfather had his eye poked out. (POKED OUT?!) But this picture was before that happened. Oh my. How scary is that?! Maybe he was more of an OUT-law!

I inherited a ton of old photos. I don’t know who a lot of the people are, but I tell ya, it doesn’t look like *anyone* was having a good time back then!

I LOVE old photos. I have some of my great grandparents that homesteaded where we live now, framed and on the wall.

Eye poked out?! Yikes! That sounds like quite a story!
Great picture – a little scary, though! We love m&ms too.

This is getting a bit more subjective, but I much prefer the Zune Marketplace. The interface is colorful, has more flair, and some cool features like ‘Mixview’ that let you quickly see related albums, songs, or other users related to what you’re listening to. Clicking on one of those will center on that item, and another set of “neighbors” will come into view, allowing you to navigate around exploring by similar artists, songs, or users. Speaking of users, the Zune “Social” is also great fun, letting you find others with shared tastes and becoming friends with them. You then can listen to a playlist created based on an amalgamation of what all your friends are listening to, which is also enjoyable. Those concerned with privacy will be relieved to know you can prevent the public from seeing your personal listening habits if you so choose.
I would have to say, well stated.
I drop a comment whenever I like a article on a site or if I have something to add to the discussion. Usually it is a result of the fire communicated in the post I browsed. And on this article Outlaws or In-Laws? A Retro Photo. | ohamanda.com. I was moved enough to post a thought 😉 I actually do have 2 questions for you if you tend not to mind. Is it simply me or do a few of the comments look as if they are left by brain dead visitors? 😛 And, if you are writing at additional online sites, I would like to follow everything new you have to post. Could you make a list the complete urls of all your community pages like your twitter feed, Facebook page or linkedin profile?
Thanks for sharing your opinions and thoughts this is great article!
Zune and iPod: Most people compare the Zune to the Touch, but after seeing how slim and surprisingly small and light it is, I consider it to be a rather unique hybrid that combines qualities of both the Touch and the Nano. It’s very colorful and lovely OLED screen is slightly smaller than the touch screen, but the player itself feels quite a bit smaller and lighter. It weighs about 2/3 as much, and is noticeably smaller in width and height, while being just a hair thicker.
