Toddlerhood Part 2

(part 1 here)

Last night I put Lydia to bed 40 minutes early. She slept for over 14 hours! When she woke up she wanted to drink her milk while laying in my lap in the rocker for another 30 minutes! Now she’s happily eating waffles in her high chair–smiling and talking the whole time.

I always said there’s nothing wrong with Lydia that some sleep won’t fix!

Oh, I would love some 14 hour Wog sleep… we are lucky if we can get 10, even now that I’ve taken him down to 1 nap a day! He’s never been much of a sleeper…didn’t get that from me!

I think for a 3 year old they just need to sleep the whole day and night:)

What a nice treat for you! Sleep at their ages is the most precious thing and you are totally correct, there is hardly anything it won’t fix! I have one who sleeps 13-14 hours at night and it’s lovely. I have another who seems to think 9 or 10 hours is enough. It’s not! Not when you’re 4.

    I should be so lucky.

This is one reason I’m not a spanker! She needed sleep, not to be hit.

Between me and my husband we’ve owned more MP3 players over the years than I can count, including Sansas, iRivers, iPods (classic & touch), the Ibiza Rhapsody, etc. But, the last few years I’ve settled down to one line of players. Why? Because I was happy to discover how well-designed and fun to use the underappreciated (and widely mocked) Zunes are.

I believe everything typed made a great deal of sense. But, consider this, suppose you typed a catchier post title? I mean, I don’t wish to tell you how to run your blog, but what if you added something that makes people want more? I mean Toddlerhood Part 2 | ohamanda.com is a little boring. You ought to look at Yahoo’s home page and watch how they create post titles to get people to open the links. You might try adding a video or a related pic or two to grab readers excited about what you’ve written. Just my opinion, it could bring your website a little livelier.

Zune and iPod: Most people compare the Zune to the Touch, but after seeing how slim and surprisingly small and light it is, I consider it to be a rather unique hybrid that combines qualities of both the Touch and the Nano. It’s very colorful and lovely OLED screen is slightly smaller than the touch screen, but the player itself feels quite a bit smaller and lighter. It weighs about 2/3 as much, and is noticeably smaller in width and height, while being just a hair thicker.
