Wanna teach your kids how to serve? To give? To *gulp* do hard things? Me, too! This year, I’ve purposed to give my kids an opportunity to serve. In fact, I’m challenging them (and myself) to do something hard each month. As I was thinking about this idea, I said, “Why do it alone? I’ll ask all my friends to do it, too!”
Each month, I’ll introduce you to an organization or ministry that is helping kids and families around the world. I’ve found organizations that help kids out of poverty and protect them from harm, all while leading them to Jesus. These organizations will get your kids excited and they provide kid-friendly ways to support them.
At the beginning of each month, I’ll post about the organization and give you our monthly mission or our challenge for the month.
If you and your kids accept the mission and actually do it during the month, you can link up your photos (from Instagram/Flickr/etc.) or blog posts in that month’s linky. At the end of the month, I’ll post once more about the organization and how much good we did that month.
