As I was trying to think of a good Top Ten list for you today, I reviewed some of my old posts. And I ran across to totally random and weird lists: P Words and Most Famous O Words. So, today, in an effort to continue the random, here are

THE TOP TEN MOST WONDERFUL “W” WORDS EVER:

1. Wilderness.

I don’t know, this word is just…wild! And it reminds me of Fort Wilderness at Disney World. (You knew I’d get that in there somewhere, didn’t you?)

2. Wilma.

As in Fred’s wife. Isn’t that the best name ever? That l-m combination is just weird. Go on, say it out loud a few times. Wilma. Wilma. Wilma.

3. Wart.

Actually. This word makes me shudder. It’s bad enough that warts are warts. But do they have to name them warts?! Gag.

4. Watermelon

I think this is a great word to say if you want to sound southern. Of course, the better pronunciation is “waddermelon”. Go ahead, just try it with your best Southern accent.

5. Weird.

Well, it’s not that this word is so great, I just love that people misspell it all the time and write “wired” instead. For some reason that makes me laugh. Wired. Weird. Wired. Weird.

6. Whatever.

And of course, it’s abbreviation, “Whatevs”.

7. Woot.

A great social media response to anything great. Double your excitement with Woot, Woot!

8. Wackadoo.

I’ve never actually said this but I heard it on Project Runway last week. I think it was as a description for Mondo. Which is very accurate, I think.

9. Wallop.

If I was a little more country, this is one I’d actually use. “I”m gonna wallop you, boy!”

10. Whip.

I think this is one of those onomatopoeia words. You know, the ones that sound like what they actually are? I think whips make a “whipp!” sound, don’t you? Plus, they remind me of Harrison Ford in Indiana Jones. And that’s nice.

Did you love that list? I did. It was fun. So, what’s your Top Ten today? Go ahead, WRITE a Top Ten list on your blog. LINK back to me in it. PASTE the url to your post below. Then start LOVING on the rest of the participants by clicking, reading, stumbling, tweeting or liking their posts. I know they’d love it!

Today I gave Lydia a bath, read four books (including one about a pirate), made ravioli (not from scratch), uploaded the pictures off my new camera (a Christmas present from the hubby!), read less than 2 blog posts, drove Lydia to the grandparents, went to the UPS store, bought a suh-weet advent calendar from Pottery Barn for $3.47, went grocery shopping, did a load of laundry (still unfolded), changed about 12 diapers (literally), thought about doing the dishes and yes, even took a shower.

Wha’d you do?

Lydia woke up with a fever this morning but she is as happy go lucky as can be now! I’m glad because she and Asa have had little coughs for about two days. Not only that but today is the day the sisterchicks are going to eat CUPCAKES. *sigh* I love me a good cupcake. Or twelve.

And in other completely interesting news, I’m guest-posting on (the “other”) Mandi’s new blog, Organizing Your Way today! It’s actually a repost of my how to organize Christmas lights post. So, you don’t have to go read it. But you do want to click over and look at Mandi’s blog. It makes me excited about a get-organized New Year’s resolution!

Speaking of New Year’s resolutions, mine for this year is CLEAN OUT MY STINKIN’ INBOX. I must must must get that thing under <strike>100</strike> 10 emails. It’s turning into an email graveyard!!

OK. That’s all the randomy randomness I can come up with right now. I’ll be back after the sisterchick outing to report on every sweet morsel I put in my mouth!
